Well, well, well

An eight year old Ennis girl, Della Creech, the daughter of Mrs. R. S. Creech, fell down a well in July 1893. She fell 36 feet but her cries were heard by a neighbor, M. C. Allsworth, who climbed down a rope to rescue Della. One of the girl’s thighs was broken and she also suffered internal injuries that were reported as dangerous. A later report confirmed she was recovering well. Read stories like this and more in your latest edition of The Ennis News. Be informed, subscribe today!
