Michael Wright Elliott of Alma Texas went to be with his Lord and savior on February 6,2021. He was 74 years old.

He was born on November 15,1946 in Ennis Tx to Wendell and Elizabeth Elliott and was a lifelong resident of Alma. He attended school in Ennis Tx and was a graduate of Ennis High School in 1964. Upon gradua tion, he served in the Army National Guard. Mike married his life long partner, Betty Jane Timms, on August 19,1966.

Mike was preceeded in death by his parents, Wendell and Elizabeth Elliott, and brother Gary Elliott.

Eleazar Carrillo passed away peacefully on Jan. 29, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones at home.

Eleazar was born to father, Anacleto Carrillo, and mother, Maria Reyna, on June 7, 1931, in Palau, Coahuila. He was the oldest of five siblings.

Eleazar was preceded in death by his wife, Delfina Carrillo; his parents; his sisters, Alicia Quintanilla and Teresa Perez; one brother, Ramiro Carrillo, and one great grandchild.

Bettye L. Brandon, 63, passed away on Jan. 29, 2021.

Viewing was held Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Superior Care Funeral Services Chapel, 320 W. 6th Ave., Corsicana, Texas 75110.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, at 11 a.m., at First Baptist Church, 510 W. Collin St., Corsicana.

Services were under the direction of Superior Care Funeral Services.

Bennie Welch

Bennie Welch, 96, of Telico, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

Bennie was born in Alvin, Texas, on April 23, 1924, to John and Kate (Chambers) Welch. He grew up in Alvin, Texas, and on April 10, 1944, he married his sweetheart, Lois Doughit, and they made their home in Dallas.

Bennie served his country proudly in the United States Army.

Bennie was a supervisor for Welch Construction for over 35 years. He was a member of the VFW and Sokol for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding horses.

Jan Mulkey Magee, 85, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021, in Ennis, Texas.

Jan was born December 13, 1935, in Ennis, Texas to Keith and Tina Beth (Wheeler) Mulkey. Jan grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1954. On April 9, 1966, she married the love of her life Charles H. Magee, Jr. they originally made their home in Corsicana from 1966 to 1990 when they returned to Ennis.

Doris Jean Snedden

Jean Snedden, born Doris Jean Allen, on September 1, 1927, in Pampa, Texas, passed away January 9, 2021, in Tyler, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Lincoln Snedden Jr. (“G. L.” or “Jake”) and her brother, Harry Lyle Allen, of Spring.

She is survived by her sister, Joann Baker; sons: Robert and wife, Britta, and Scott and wife, Nancy; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Joe E. Landsfeld, 78, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

Joe was born on September 7, 1942, to Joe J. and Agnes (Holy) Landsfeld in Ennis, Texas. Joe grew up in Ennis and graduated from S. John High School in 1960. He went on to attend Draughons Business College specializing in computers. On June 29, 1963 he married his sweetheart Janice Skrivanek and they made their home in Ennis.

Joe worked for Southland Life for two years as a computer programmer and for Wright Titus Agency for forty-three years as the head of their computer department.

Louis A. Dolezalik

Louis A. Dolezalik, age 84, passed away on January 19, 2021, in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Ennis on September 29, 1936, to Louis M. and Agnes (Novosad) Dolezalik. He graduated from Saint John High School in 1954 and attended Navarro Junior College, receiving his Associate of Science Degree in 1956. Louis married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Jo Ann Jurica Dolezalik, on October 12, 1957, and they shared 62 wonderful years together.

Angie Oliver, of Ennis, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2021, in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was born April 13, 1960, in McGregor, Texas, to H.G. (Gene) Shaver and Erma Ward Shaver Hill.

Ms. Oliver was preceded in death by her father, H.G. (Gene) Shaver and stepfather Kenneth Hill.

Angie is survived by her daughter, Adrienne Waples and husband, Michael, and granddaughter, Sariah Waples, of Ft. Worth; mother, Erma Ward Shaver Hill, and sister, Debra Morton, both of Ennis; nephews: Trae Morton, of Waxahachie, and Kyle Morton, of Ennis, and their families.
