Chic and savory benefit this Sat.

This Saturday, Ennis’ “ladies who lunch” will sample a piece of the fashion pie.
The much-awaited Springtime Opulence Style Show and Luncheon struts its way into La Galleria, courtesy of Sweet ‘N Sassy, to benefit the Ennis Chamber of Commerce.
The Ennis Daily News thinks the event is an ideal opportunity to survey the latest styles provided by one of the town’s classiest boutiques, savor a gourmet lunch prepared by Isabella Tant’s excellent chefs, and have the satisfaction of knowing all this couture and cuisine aids a good cause.
What’s more, Ennis style mavens couldn’t ask for a more picturesque venue than the historic Rowe Building, which houses La Galleria’s restaurant, bakery, gallery and, of course, the Sweet ‘N Sassy shop, a branch of the Corsicana business owned by Lou Nagy.
Attendees will be able to review the new spring lines as well as cheer on some of their friends who have responded to the fashion summons to appear as models in the show –– among them such recognizable locals as Laurie Mah and Mary Pollan.
So ladies (and gentlemen) who crave a little peek at Ennis chic, want to enjoy a delectable light lunch, and care to lend an elegant hand to Ennis Chamber of Commerce fundraising, be sure to drop by La Galleria Saturday at noon and have a glamorous good time.
