Make plans to attend St. John’s bazaar

Every year St. John Catholic Church invites the public out for a day of family fun during their annual bazaar.
Committee members are working furiously this year to make sure the event is a huge success and we’re confident all their hard work will pay off. A huge group of volunteers are donating their time and talents to this important fund-raiser and now it will be up to the public to help make sure their effort pays off.
This year’s bazaar is scheduled for Sept. 20 and 21 and will feature all of the games and crafts booths we’ve come to expect. And as always, make sure you bring a good appetite to enjoy the tasty treats that will be be on sale.
With the closure of the St. John Catholic School earlier this summer, this has been a difficult time for the St. John family. Many at the church are working hard to bring everyone together with an eye on the future and all the possibilities it holds. The annual bazaar is a perfect chance to accomplish this and judging from the large number of volunteers, it’s going very well.
We want to encourage our readers to mark their calendars and plan now to attend this fun event. Not only is it a great opportunity to enjoy fellowship, good food and fun with the family, but it supports a very important local institution in St. John Catholic Church.
We’re happy to see so many eager volunteers working on this year’s bazaar and we know it’s going to be successful. We’re fortunate to have so many good people who are willing to help out, because we’ll all get to enjoy the fruits of their labors on Sept. 20-21. We hope the event also has the added benefit of bringing the church family closer together as they move forward following the difficult days surrounding the closure of the school.
