Scouts To The Rescue

After the Ennis Golden Circle activity center held their first-ever Golf Ball Drop fund-raiser, they were left with one problem – gathering up the 800-plus golf balls that had just been dropped beside the Ennis High School baseball field.
Fortunately, Boy Scouts from Troop 210 were on hand to get the job done. Pictured above (left to right) are Zack Guiterrez, Brandan Hufnagel, Bruce Tekell, Hayden Mahone, Ethan Hull (standing), Alex Cervantez, Chase Maliska (standing) and leader Susan Tekell. Other Troop 210 members on hand, but not pictured, were Chris Fullerton and leader Bill Hull. This marked the end of a busy day for the troop members, who had already helped the Telico Fire Department and the Friends of the Library earlier in the day.
