Indians run past host Yellowjacket football

Two forced turnovers, a blocked field goal and a strong rushing performance by the visiting Alvarado Indians proved to be more than the Ferris Yellowjackets could handle in a 37-10 Alvarado victory on Friday night.
Alvarado improved its record to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in district play, while Ferris dropped to 4-4 and 1-2 in district.

“Men, you have got to stop doing this to yourselves,” coach Randy Barnes told his Yellowjackets after the loss.

“Turnovers, missed blocks and missed tackles are things we control and have to execute.
