Hashemi slaying suspects served

More than two weeks after investigators discovered Mohammed Hashemi’s body, sheriff’s investigators have filed warrants for capital murder and served the three adult suspects held in Hashemi’s slaying.
Chief Deputy Dennis Brearley with the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office said the three suspects were served late Thursday.

Justice of the Peace Jackie Miller issued warrants for Eric Lee Maldonado, 21, Ruben Hernandez, 18, and Fernando Juarez, 17, after the slaying. The three men are in county custody, each with at least $1 million in bond.
