Freshman Lady Lions stay busy Saturday

It seems when the Freshman Lady Lions enter a volleyball tournament, it’s serious business.
Ennis (4-2) headed to Kaufman for tourney action on Saturday and battled one foe after another until it secured second place among a field of five teams.

“The competition was pretty tough, so the girls did well,” said coach Chris Pitts. “We played five matches with barely any rest in between. I know the girls were tired, but they fought through it.”
