Bomb threat closes ESB

Ennis police and fire fighters rushed to Ennis State Bank this morning hunting for a bomb.
Scanner traffic ramped up around 9:30 a.m. as the morning dispatch team alerted emergency crews that bank operations were closing down. The bank reopened at 9:55 a.m. after emergency responders entered the building, conducted a sweep and found no suspicious items or explosives. Police stormed into the back of the bank at about 9:45 a.m. after bank employees cleared out during the evacuation order.
