Lion tennis wallops Waxahachie on the road

At some point in district play, Lion tennis had to lose a few individual matches.
It happened Tuesday in Waxahachie, but Ennis (13-2, 5-0) still easily disposed of the Indians via a 10-2 victory.

“Waxahachie is the toughest district opponent we’ve faced and they played hard until the end,” said coach Keith Howard. “We had a lot of close sets, but our kids managed to win them.”

It was relatively competitive, considering Ennis had won all 30 of its individual district matches entering Tuesday’s play.
