‘Meals’ support needed

Meals on Wheels of Johnson and Ellis Counties is girding for Christmas and the rest of the holiday season, and its biggest need is one that seldom changes — volunteers.
Amy Jackson, director of development for MOW of Johnson and Ellis counties, said meals will be delivered on Christmas Eve as well as New Year’s Eve and the need for help is significant.

“We do need help, whether it be on a temporary basis or if someone wants to be a full time volunteer,” Jackson said. “We always need volunteers, regardless of the time of year.”
