Board should change times for meetings

Discussion again landed Tuesday on the concept to significantly rework how the Ennis Independent School District’s board conducts its public meetings, and we stand behind proposals that would open up transparency and increase access.

The board’s current open meeting structure calls for closed-door executive sessions to begin deliberations after the board conducts the majority of the evening’s business.
