Care for aging parents


The health of the soul of people is often detectable by how they treat those who don’t speak, or those who serve them or how they treat animals. But a nation’s care for infants and the elderly speaks volumes. America’s treatment of the unborn is well documented. It is as though they have no rights until they are born, and in some states that is now not be enough. Anther expression reveals deep truths as well. Those who mistreat the elderly have deep-seeded issues that are unseemly. After all, where would we be without senior adults, many who have raised their kids and their kids’ children. Ennis has long been known for its family values, including their care of aging adults. Credit the strong Czech heritage and the vibrant view of familia by Hispanics, the latter comprising a third of adults and over half of schoolaged children and adults.
