Congress’ lack of action regarding CHIP scary

With a quickly approaching deadline—after which 400,000 Texas kids could be dropped from the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)—
more than 30 leading Texas health care and advocacy organizations sent a joint letter to U.S. Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz as well as Governor Greg Abbott, urgently requesting intervention. As part of the Children’s Health Coverage Coalition, the groups are asking
