Getting over the loss in Waco

Friday’s loss in Waco was a tough pill to swallow for Ennis. The hometown Lions football team took on the No. 6 ranked team in the state, Cedar Park. After dominating the first half while building a 14-0 lead, Ennis failed to make big plays on offense in a second half that saw them gain a single first down. Several things went wrong, mostly against the Lions special teams, which spurred a swing of momentum leading to 14 points for the favored Timberwolves.
