Giving the perfect gift of certainty

OK, so maybe you’re one of those folks who feel sure they will never need the services provided by Air Evac. In other words, you’re sure and certain that nothing is ever going to happen to you, either injury or illness, that would require that you be flown to a trauma center, most likely in Dallas.
Believe me, I honestly hope that you never need this service; however, it just floors me that you know this without a doubt.
I know people who felt the same way, but no longer do so because something has happened to them or a loved one that necessitated them being flown.
We had a precious six-year-old a month ago who was riding a 4-wheeler, something he had done numerous times with no mishap; however, this time the 4-wheeler turned over on him and injured him seriously enough that he had to be flown to Children’s in Dallas.
His family was not a member of Air Evac, but they are now. In fact, his Dad bought a family membership for 5 years. Hopefully, they’ll never need it again, but if they do, it’s there for them.
I’ve said it before: Having Air Evac membership is peace of mind because, for $50 for a household of three or more per year, you have the secure knowledge that you will never get a bill from Air Evac, no matter how many times you or anyone else on your membership has to be flown.
This is not meant to be a commercial, but a reminder that we don’t always know what will happen today, tomorrow, or any time in the future.
Having the knowledge that you won’t get a bill for $5,000-$15,000 or more should make you worry a little less about the future.
It certainly does me. As I’ve told you before, my husband and I were the first members of Air Evac in Ennis and will always be members.
It not only benefits us, but the entire community in having that helicopter at Ennis Airport rather than having to call one to come from Dallas and go back to Dallas, using precious time that could have the patient already at the trauma center being treated.
If you have someone on your Christmas list who is the proverbial “one who has everything” we have gift certificates available until Dec. 15 that you can purchase for them.
What better gift is there than peace of mind? I can’t think of a one, especially one that lasts a full year for such a small monetary investment.
Please think, not only of yourself, but of your loved ones who could benefit from membership in Air Evac. Please call or email me and I’ll be happy to come talk with you.
