Jack the right man for the job

The choice of making Jack Alvarez the athletic director of the Ennis Independent School District comes as no distinct surprise to those who know Jack.
Saying Jack is my homeboy might be going a bit too far, but saying Jack Alvarez has proven to be a stand-up football coach and that he has worked exceptionally well with this newspaper are well within my limits.
