Letter to the Editor

Carol Bush has led county in a positive direction.
Please consider this as my unequivocal support of Judge Carol Bush for re-election to the position of Ellis County Judge. As a former elected official, I am well aware of how much it means to our citizens to have someone of the caliber of Carol Bush as the presiding judge of the Ellis County Court. I have seen the positive influence Judge Bush has had on our county through the past nine years. She has brought her knowledge of the law into the position; she has exhibited the professionalism that is needed to represent a county whose population is growing steadily; she has continued work on behalf of all the citizens in Ellis County. Her leadership has seen our County Tax Rate lowered to the same levels we had in 2010. It is with utmost confidence that I will cast my vote to re-elect Judge Carol Bush. Having witnessed her in action in court, having seen the respect she has on the state level, and knowing her personal dedication to her position, I believe that she has the qualities we need in our Ellis County Judge. Voting is such a privilege, and I ask that you take that privilege seriously, and vote for Carol Bush to continue to lead Ellis County in a positive direction.

Jim Pitts
Former State Representative, Ellis County
