Life is never a drag when I am watching my favorite TV show

“Gentlemen, start your engines, and may the best woman win!” For the past ten years, RuPaul has hosted one of the most iconic reality television shows of all time, coining equally as memorable catch phrases such as the one mentioned. RuPaul’s Drag Race is basically a beauty pageant, talent show and dramedy all mixed into one huge (and extremely colorful) television program. The show is made up of a cast of around 14 drag queens who compete throughout the season in mini and maxi challenges in order to become America’s Next Drag Superstar. Every week, two queens are put up for elimination based on their performance in the challenges of the week and then must “lipsync for their life” before RuPaul decides who is eliminated that episode. An extension of the show, entitled Untucked, features footage from behind the scenes when the queens head backstage as the judges deliberate on that week’s performances. All in all, each episode is 90 minutes of drama, tears and hilarious mishaps from the week, also known as the best way to spend your Thursday night.
