Lions Club sets good example

We’d like to take this space to point a kind word toward the Ennis Noon Lions Club for its efforts to equip young students in this community with glasses.

Whether a person has vision impairments or not, we can all understand how basic the ability to see can be in day-to-day life. True, the blind make great impacts on our society with little to no sight to help them navigate the world and absorb information — that is not in question. Given the ability to do so, however, we think helping people to preserve, strengthen and regain sharp vision is a noble cause.
