Plans to better local schools are welcomed

We are sympathetic to the challenge that faces school districts in meeting sometimes impossible standards in education, and we understand it to be a significant point of contention in educational politics that has been long awaiting change.

Still, Ennis has to deal with the reality that several schools here fell short of being counted among those schools that meet the goals, and that means it has to follow the guidelines for correcting such issues.
