Some dogs are more loyal than humans

A recent story crossed my desk that was impossible to dismiss. What are the most loyal dogs? Such a simple question, yet it begged the click of my mouse. There they were, a dozen dogs, each famed for its loyalty to humans. I had to see who made the grade. Which is more interesting, those who are known for the behavior that humans most admire, or the photos that surely must accompany the text about the beloved bow-wows? I’ll spare you the time by summarizing the Entirely Pets blog about man’s best friend. Then I will share my own observations. Listed at No. 12, the Bulldog. Originally bred in England and used in bull baiting, a sport pitting chained bulls against other animals, often dogs. It has sense been outlawed, though the stamina, strength, speed and intelligence of the breed was revered. Bulldogs became known for their calm dispositions and the bonds they build with children.
