Susan Lincoln-The Weekly Muddle-Could I have some sweet tea, please?


While traveling home from a recent visit in Alabama, we split the six-hour drive into two parts and decided upon lunch. We found a restaurant. And a parking place. And a table. And then we ordered. “First,” I announced to the waiter, “I need sweet tea.” He brought the popular libation, called “The House Drink of the South,” and promptly left to care for other patrons. The son noticed first. “This tea isn’t sweet,” he said. I sampled mine next. “No, it is not,” I agreed.
