When is Enough Already?

It has been said that the essence of futility is to “keep doing the same thing while expecting a different result.” Of course, some who have written the old axiom replace the word futility with insanity.

Overused, perhaps. But it does illustrate there are plenty of things needing to be done differently.

Like the at-grade intersections on Highway 287 at Ensign and Oak Grove roads.

The tragic events of this past week, including the loss of one life, Subrina Knight, followed by a pair of wrecks along the same stretch on Thursday, add to a growing list of accidents.

Accidents that often involve vehicles going 55 mph and an unaware driver.

Avoidable accidents. Avoidable fatalities.
