Bluebonnet Fest


Kachina Prairie will get its day in the sun during the upcoming Bluebonnet Trails as special guided tours are to be conducted of the area by the Indian Trail Master Naturalists Called “Wildflower Walks,” the tours are scheduled for Saturday, April 13 at the following times throughout that morning and afternoon: 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. “Please include Kachina Prairie as part of your tour of Bluebonnet Trails,” announced the Indian Trail Master Naturalists in a recent update to their website. “Enjoy a vanishing icon of Texas – a true native prairie. There are abundant birds and wildflowers to view and photograph. Wildflowers you may see include bluebonnets, Indian paintbrush, prairie verbena and Texas star daisy.
