Brookshires building sold to Avenue Church


Avenue Church pastor Zach Wright and his wife, Ashley, who directs Ave. Kidz ministry to children, hope to move into the former Brookshires by the end of 2019. Avenue Church of Ennis and its mother church in Waxahachie purchased the former Brookshires building and property at 2300 W. Ennis Ave. The deal became official on April 15. News of the plan was not a well-kept secret as the idea and eventually the proposal were announced or circulated among members at both campuses.
