Dark comedy “Arsenic and Old Lace” starts Thursday

The classic dark comedy “Arsenic and Old Lace” opens Thursday at Theatre Rocks! in Ennis. A perennial stage favorite, this side splitting story was made famous by Frank Capra’s 1944 film adaptation starring Cary Grant and is perfectly timed for the pre-Halloween weekend. The farce revolves around the Brewster family, comprised of two sweet spinster aunts with surprisingly sinister secrets (Elena Vidrine of Ennis and Annabel Perry of Milford) and their nephews.
