‘It’ is no laughing matter


This is by no means the first time Stephen King has enjoyed an eventful year. Following the box office flop of “The Dark Tower” in July, one of Stephen King’s more well known classics, “It,” received an adaptation that was release in theaters this week. If you remember, around this time last year, clown craze was sweeping the country as reports of pranksters and/or stalkers dressed as clowns made headline news around the country. I doubt the filmmakers behind “It” were behind these mysterious clown spottings, but they sure capitalized on it by using these chilling reports as a means to promote the movie.
