Motorcycle accident on the Avenue

Jerome Cabler was thrown from his Harley Davidson motorcycle Friday afternoon after witnesses reported Cabler drove through a red light and brushed against the front end of a 1957 Crown Victoria.
According to Det. Sgt. Mike Hopson, Cabler, 30, of Waxahachie was traveling westbound along W. Ennis Ave. when he drove through the intersection at Yorkstown Drive. The driver of the Crown Victoria said he began crossing the intersection headed southbound once the light turned green. At this time Cabler came across the vehicle and was thrown from the motorcycle. Cabler was flown to a Dallas hospital. His condition is not known at this time. The driver of the Crown Victoria was not injured in the accident.
