Alcala named Scholar Athlete of the Week
Ennis High cross-country runner Amy Alcala has been selected as the Scholar Athlete of the Week by WFFA’s Dale Hansen. Her segment will air on WFFA in the near future and that information will be presented when possible. Congratulations to Amy for her selection. Alcala and the Lion cross-country team will host the Ennis Lion’s Den Invitational cross-country meet at Jaycee Park. The first race will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the event will conclude around 10:45 a.m. There are expected to be 800 runners at this year’s event.
