High school expansion a sight to behold

Conceptual drawings and spoken imagery doesn’t do justice to what is taking place at Ennis High School right now.
It has been thoroughly reported about the facility’s expansion concerning the schedule and budget, but it isn’t until a person takes a tour of the construction site that they are able to grasp the true extent of how great a high school Ennis is going to have. Even with dirt tracked in on the concrete, metal beams piled in the middle of walkways and men banging away on scaffolding, a person is blown away at the magnificence of what is to come.
Phases of construction will be complete during the Christmas break but a finishing point for both the high school and the junior high won’t be ready until August. Incoming students are sure to be blown away at the extent of each facility, from the athletics department to the classrooms and fine arts facility.
One must use their imagination while standing inside the giant spaces surrounded by concrete walls, but when the picture of what is to come is envisioned it is something that can only be described as awesome.
We challenge the naysayers and doubters who think expanding the high school or building a new junior high school to take an hour out of your day and view the impressive work being done to ensure a safe, attractive and advanced facility for the taxpayers of Ennis.
The more people who see it the better because you will know for yourself what a great job is being done.
