Garrett Police join in warrant roundup

During the month of February, the Garrett Police Department will participate in the second Texas Warrant Roundup.
A press conference for the North Texas region is scheduled at 10 a.m. Feb 1 at the Centerpoint III building, located at 600 Six Flags Drive in Arlington.
All across the state, law enforcement officials will be saying, “Pay your fine or do the time,” according to an advance report. Police officers will focus on people with outstanding warrants for Class C misdemeanor violations. Offenders can be arrested at their home, job or school, and at anytime. Those with outstanding warrants are urged to contact the Garrett Municipal Court at (972) 875-5893, or come by in person to the Garrett Municipal Court, located at 208 N. Ferris St., from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Act immediately to avoid arrest.
