Coach Wyatt Johnson: “We did well against some of the region’s northernmost teams. Our players had a chance to compete against some of the state’s best players and were able to hold their own. I feel that the players now have a good idea of what to expect the rest of the season in that they’ll have to elevate their game to overcome these highly ranked opponents. We’re in a good spot overall, but there’s also room for improvement. The players are getting better each day and our goals for district, regionals and state aren’t too far out of reach.”

Coach Wyatt Johnson: “It’s really incredible that we won five out of six events that Ennis players participated in. This includes one second place along with three semifinals appearances by other Ennis players who were simply beat out by their own teammates. Our players dominated the tournament and would’ve taken home the team trophy had one been awarded. I’m extremely pleased with the way our practices are coming together on the court. The players are reading the situations during match play and using skills learned in practice to their benefit.”
