Golden Circle golf ball drop

It was raining golden golf balls at the Ennis High School baseball field Saturday afternoon.
The Ennis Golden Circle Activity Center held their first-ever Golf Ball Drop fund-raiser with the help of the Ennis Fire Department. Over 800 numbered golden golf balls were dropped from above a golf hole cut into the turf. There weren’t any holes-in-one, but the three balls closest to the hole were awarded prize money. First place was Mary Ann Felcman ($500), second place was Leo Wills ($250) and third place was Brian Emlet ($100). Organizers carefully measured distances to determine the lucky winners (bottom).
