Ennis gets a new map

For the first time in five years, Ennis, Texas has a new map.
The Ennis Chamber of Commerce recently completed publication of a beautiful new bluebonnet-themed map that coordinates with the Chamber’s Ennis Living Magazine and Membership Directory.
"The map serves as a brochure as well as it also includes a profile of Ennis featuring education, housing, shopping, and several other selected points of interest," said Patsy Grider, Ennis Chamber of Commerce President. “Many new streets have been built since the last map, and in order to get the new ones added, we depended on the expertise of the City of Ennis, especially Buddy Markham, to get those news ones included. We couldn’t have created the new map without their assistance
"The map was made financially feasible by the advertisers who participated in the project and we should all be grateful to them for funding this wonderful new map,” Grider said. “ It will be included in all retail/commercial proposals that we send out and put in the newcomer packets we distribute. It was a very labor-intensive project for our staff, but we were happy to do it and hope our community and guests enjoy it."
