Scam uses Sprint name

A new identity theft trick has been reported to local police that allegedly involves Sprint personnel asking for debit card information, said Det. Lt. Ron Roark.
A report sent from the Lewisville Police Department claims potential identity theft victims will receive phone or e-mail messages requesting they phone the company because the person’s Resource 1 debit card has been deactivated and to reactivate the account a service member must be contacted.
