Good scenery, few issues

Widespread snow across a wide belt of the Texas midsection Tuesday prompted schools and government offices to close early and airlines to cancel flights.
Ennis and Ellis County operated as usual, with schools and government services remaining open, as snow accumulated on vehicles and rights-of-way. Road temperatures mostly prevented sticking and travel issues.

Overall, Ennis logged about 2-3 inches of snow, while Corsicana logged 3.5 inches and Midlothian tallied 3 inches.
