Ennis alumna has moment in spotlight

Finding that perfect wedding gown is a special moment for many women, and for one bride with Ennis roots, that moment will be shared with the entire country through a locally produced TV show.
The show, “Girl Meets Gown,” features Plano bridal salon Stardust Celebrations and the brides that shop there for their wedding dresses. It will premiere this weekend on WE TV and is produced by AMS Pictures, a Dallas production company.

In October 2008, Ennis alumna Julie Wilson Caldwell went to the high-end bridal salon to help a friend pick out a dress for her upcoming vow renewal. While there, the women learned about “Girl Meets Gown.” The pilot episode for the show was filming at the time, and Julie and her friend were featured in the promo, she said.
