Spotlight on … Michelle Barak

Michelle Barak was not the typical queen.
She has grace and poise that goes beyond what was seen onstage. She defines what it was to be royalty in a different way, a more subtle way.

Like the way she lets her long, brown hair do it’s own thing, with natural waves and curls. Her kroje, the traditional Czech folk costume, was rare, too. She chose to wear a longer, less elaborate one from Tobar, in South Bohemia, rather than the shorter, more decorated choice from Moravia, which most people identify with. If it’s not her hair or kroje, it has to be the modest way of saying she doesn’t speak Czech very well.
