Donations aid family

Victron Energy has donated $5,000 to the fund set up to benefit the family of Mohammad Hashemi, the former owner of the B&F Exxon in Garrett.
Hashemi is survived by a wife and seven children, ages 16, 14, 10, 7, 4 and twins who are 1 1/2 years old.

“We are truly saddened by this needless tragedy,” said Victron Energy President Ali Sharif. “Mr. Hashemi was an outstanding father, businessman and member of the Ennis community. We felt it was important at this time of need that we reach out and help this family and we encourage the entire community to contribute …”
