City OKs share of total cost for utility projects

Ennis is preparing to start its portion of the construction that will expand the U.S. 287 Bypass.

Construction work, which will include projects in the Lampasas Street-U.S. 287 intersection area, off Physician’s Drive and in several areas crossing the highway in that section, is tentatively slated to start Monday.
