EISD Board considering new EJHS principal

Ennis Junior High School could have a new leader as early as Thursday.
School officials conducted candidate interviews throughout June for the open position of principal and a selected applicant is expected for approval by members of the Ennis ISD Board of Trustees at a called board meeting tonight.

The position opened in May, when former principal Orlando Vargas announced his resignation to become principal of Palestine High School in Palestine.
