Easter Passion enactment scheduled

Churches working together to benefit Helping Hands
First Presbyterian Church, St. Thomas Episcopal and Grace Lutheran churches have joined together to present a special performance to benefit Helping Hands Ennis.
Their seven-station, live, outdoor enactment of the Easter Passion story titled, “Walk the Path of the Cross,” will take place on the property of Grace Lutheran at 2402 W. Ennis Ave on March 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be several tours during the day with each tour taking about an hour. The tours will begin on the hour and half hour. Admission will be granted to anyone making a food donation the group can give to Helping Hands.
The public is encouraged to attend, but even if residents cannot stay for the performance, everyone is encouraged to drop off food donations that the churches’ members will take to Helping Hands when the event is over.
