Drinking and driving don’t mix
Once the holidays are here — with family visiting, children out of school, and the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping as it speeds up — we are tempted to move without the care that typifies our daily routine.
Perhaps the most important place where we slacken our resolve is in drinking alcohol, and we all know the implications and consequences when we let ourselves make poor decisions under the influence.
It’s all too common for Thanksgiving Day to involve a bit of drinking once the big meal is over and families settle down to watch football, socialize or find other ways to while away the hours.
