Wilson eager for new role

Ellis County has a new district and county attorney in Patrick M. Wilson.
Wilson was appointed by the commissioners’ court in a special meeting Friday morning to fill the unexpired term of Joe Grubbs effective Jan. 1, 2011.

Grubbs will be sworn in on the same day to the bench of the 378th District Court replacing Judge Al Scoggins, recently elected to the 10th Court of Appeals in Waco.
