Christmas expected to be clear, bright day
Don’t hang on to hopes for snow this season, as Texas’ persistent drought has locked down most of the state in predictions for the Christmas weekend.
Ennis is no exception, with National Weather Service forecasts calling for the slight chance of rain expected today to dissipate by late evening. Children will wake up Saturday to a mostly sunny — even if a bit chilly — Christmas morning.
Temperatures will be in the low 30s overnight as Santa makes his annual trip down from the North Pole and rise into the upper 40s by afternoon Saturday.
