EGL scoreboards on the way up
The City of Ennis will be drilling the holes and setting the posts for the Ennis Girls League’s new scoreboards to be installed. All of the scoreboards will be 6×8 feet and will look similar to the three smaller scoreboards of the Ennis Little League. The scoreboard controllers will be wireless. The boards will display score, balls, strikes, outs, inning and time remaining. The first scoreboard will be installed on Field 6 to honor the 18U teams.
Softball pitching clinic available
Coach Redgie Graves will be holding a pitching clinic on the third Saturday of each month at Bluebonnet Park. A minimum of 10 girls must sign up for each session to keep it from being cancelled. The cost depends on how many girls sign up. For more information, go to www.EnnisGirlsSoftball.com.
