Black Belt Academy blanks KJT 13-0

Elbert hit one triple for an RBI and a three-run homerun during the first playoff game. He also struck out six batters and gave up no hits during his two innings on the mound.

Ennis Black Belt Academy (10-1-2) proved Monday night why they were ranked first in the Senior Midget League during the regular season. EBBA blanked fourth place KJT Hall (6-6-1) 13-0 during the first playoff game.

EBBA’s two pitchers prevented KJT from making any hits and scoring runs.

EBBA pitchers Carlos Elizando (2 IP, 1 W, 6 K) and Austin Elbert (2 IP, 2 W, 6 K) held KJT from scoring any runs and making any hits during four innings.
