Boyd opts out of race

Ennis ISD Board of Trustees member Mack Boyd, pictured in January 2013 with a gift received during School Board Appreciation Month, has announced he will not run for re-election this year.

Ennis ISD trustee and former board president Mack Boyd announced Friday he will not seek re-election in the May 10 school board election.
Boyd has held a place on the board of trustees for 15 years.
