Splashdown planned Saturday at Market

A cure for the summertime blues may be just around the corner at Saturday’s Farmers Market according to Becky McCarty. The director has announced a mini-Tricycle and Bicycle Wash, accompanied by the rider, will take place on Knox Street between 10 a.m. and noon.

Approximately 20-feet long, the gauntlet, framed with PCV pipe, is equipped with seven water sprinklers, some high and some low. Pool noodles, sponges and shower curtain ribbons adorn the wash, which was created by Jerod Brown, the owner of J.B Landscaping and Rainmasters Irrigation.
